How the nonsense of Alice in Wonderland has become reality in today’s world.

The arrest warrants for alleged genocide issued to Benjamin Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant, Israel’s PM and former Defence Chief, appear to have emanated from the Courts of Hell.
Tzipi Hotovely, Israel’s UK ambassador, writing in the Daily Telegraph, wondered how the International Criminal Court intended to arrest Hamas terrorist Mohammed Deif (presumed dead, but also cited), mischievously adding: “Perhaps the ICC does have jurisdiction in Hell.”1
But no, these demonically inspired ‘lawyers’ do not even have jurisdiction there! For we will all have to give account to God one day (2 Corinthians 5:10), and he will ultimately judge whether these claims are true.
With the ICC, we are surely witnessing the spirit of Antichrist representing the darkness of evil where everything is turned upside down. As the prophet Isaiah put it: “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness…Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes and clever in their own sight.” (Isaiah 5:20f)
Such a warning surely applies to a ‘court’ seeking to prosecute the only democracy in the Middle East while at the same time rendering other democracies in danger of criminal proceedings for conducting legitimate war in defence of their country.
In its editorial, the Telegraph asked: “Would Britain and its allies have emerged victorious from the Second World War had Winston Churchill and other wartime leaders been distracted by the prospect of facing war crime accusations?”2
In this outrageous case, the victim – whose people have been mercilessly butchered and taken hostage – mysteriously becomes the bully. The one against whom genocide is being waged is now itself accused of genocide for simply defending its borders.
The ICC is obviously in thrall to the devil, whom Jesus labels “the father of lies…a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language…” (John 8:44)
Woke media and politicians would rather hear reports of the Gaza War from Hamas-controlled propaganda sources. But Jesus says: “Whoever belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God.” (verse 47)
We are witnessing the apocalyptic rise of the Beast familiar to readers of the Bible’s Book of Revelation. He is a great end-time deceiver who lures the world’s inhabitants into a perverted dance to the devil’s tune.
As part of the woke agenda, where everything abnormal must be recognised as normal, is the ‘big idea’ that a non-existent state called Palestine is the natural heir to the land God gave the Jews 4,000 years ago. You must buy that lie, or you will no longer be acceptable in polite society. It’s about rewriting history and reversing God’s eternal plan.
We’re actually in Alice in Wonderland territory where, dreaming on a balmy summer afternoon, our imaginative heroine went down the rabbit hole to befriend all kinds of strange underworld creatures including the Queen of Hearts ordering miscreants to be summarily executed. But the story was intentional nonsense which succeeded in amusing children like me for generations.
I am in possession of a beautiful bound copy of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland inherited from my dear mother. Its author Lewis Carroll ends the book with a greeting to his young readers, dated Easter 1876, encouraging them to put their trust in their Creator who will one day welcome them “to a new and glorious day…when all the sadness, and the sin, that darkened life on this little earth, shall be forgotten like the dreams of a night that is past!”
But now the nonsense has become the real world. Not even Lewis Carroll could make it up. It’s time to wake up and acknowledge our Creator who, through his Son Yeshua, has a great plan for us all, especially for his Jewish brothers and sisters!
